Catch Up

Ok, I know it's been an inordinately long time since I posted anything. I've meant to type something, I have. I just haven't.

I've had things to blog about. Like accidentally meeting "the girlfriend" and being lied to about her involvement in my daughter's life. Just for the record, I could care less about her but it would be nice to be told that she spends Saturdays with my daughter when I flat out ask if she does. I even said to the ex that I thought it was weird that she hadn't met Elizabeth when I asked if she had. It just goes to show that he can't control the lying.

My car died. It's been getting fixed for over two weeks now. I got a call today from the mechanic telling me that I'd get it back sometime next week. I have fortunately been able to use a car of my parents but come on! They finally agreed today to get me a complimentary loaner. It's a Cobalt. I was really hoping for something more exciting. Like maybe... anything else.

The ex still makes no time for his daughter. He sees her once a week and only calls one other time (if that) to see how she's doing. I really hope if he's going to bail ship on her that he does it sooner rather than later. I'd hate for it to really mess her up. If he disappears early enough she won't notice.

I still can't find a job. Enough said on that. Otherwise, I might cry.

Oh, and something positive. Elizabeth! had her First! Birthday! I can not believe it's been a year. I love her so much! I have some really cute cake pictures that I'll post soon. Promise.
