As I'm sitting here, drunk off the bottle of wine I just polished off myself (thank you liver), listening to all my long, lost cd's at deafening decibels, I'm reminded of a conversation I had with a boyfriend in college. He asked me who I thought was a greater influence to rock n' roll... The Beatles or the Rolling Stones. Just so everyone is clear here, this is a TRICK question. Anyone who knows anything about music should bow gratefully at their feet, ALL of their feet. This debate, however, was one that ended in a stoned sort of arguement about whether or not I deserved to spend the night since I hadn't said the Rolling Stones. I think I actually waited for the city bus at 3 in the morning. It's funny the things that pop in your head when it's all swishy with Syrah.
*sidenote: Lest you think I'm irresponsible, my daughter is with her dad for the weekend and I don't think she'd enjoy wine anyway.

Wow, I've seen that argument get to a ridiculous ending over the years, but to be honest yours may be the top. The whole question is too vauge, a better question would be which one would win in a knife fight in the park.

By the way, I wish I was there, so we could have had two bottles of wine. We need a wine lunch.
